Trichoblastoma

Etiology:  Trichoblastoma is a benign neoplasm of follicular germinative cells.

Incidence:  Incidence of trichoblastoma is common.

Clinical Signs:  Trichoblastomas are solitary epidermal tumors with frequently ulcerated epidermis.

Pathology:  On histologic examination, epithelial cells are arranged in anastomosing cords, ribbons, and lobules supported by a fine, fibrovascular stroma.

Diagnosis:  Diagnosis is confirmed with histopathology.
